Baycove Human Services, Emergency Services Program

Provide 24/7 mental health crisis interventions to individuals of all ages in Fall River, Freetown, Somerset, Swansea, and Westport. This services is provided in the community, in hospital emergency departments, and in schools. During the COVID-19 pandemic, they are also offering evaluations via Telehealth services.

United Way of Greater Fall River

They fight for the health, education, financial stability, and basic needs of everyone in the Greater Fall River area. One program they provide is FamilyWize, which helps with the costs of prescription medications to individuals, and families in need. They also manage the Mass 211 hotline, which provides a wealth of information for resources in the area such as counseling, domestic violence, emergency shelter, mental health services, substance abuse programs, health care, basic needs (food, clothing, shelter), crisis intervention, financial and legal assistance, disability services, veterans services, senior care, suicide prevention, child care services, official emergency information, volunteering, and much more.
